Both Russian and foreign sovereign wealth funds and investors are eyeing Bystrinsky mining and processing plant project, a co-owner of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin said on the sidelines of Congress held by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
“At the moment, two investors are announced. Our Chinese partners express interest in increasing their stake in this project, and we reaffirmed our mutual interest to them… There is a huge interest in this project on the part of Russian investors, as well as among Chinese investors, some sovereign funds consider this project as well. We think that this project will be a success, that is why Interros decided to maintain the same stake in the project,” Vladimir Potanin said.
